Scholarships in Germany for fully funded Master’s and PhD studies up to € 1200 per month (DAAD)
The German Cultural Exchange (DAAD), through its development-oriented postgraduate programs, encourages the training of specialists from developing and modern industrial countries. Well-trained local experts, who communicate with international partners, play an important role in the sustainable development of their countries. Scholarships for foreign graduates from developed and newly industrialized countries of all disciplines with at least two years’ professional experience offer an opportunity to obtain a university degree or master’s at a German university or recognized by the state, and in exceptional cases to obtain a doctorate from a university qualification (MA) / PhD) in Germany.

Scholarships Details:


Degree:
M.Sc. and Ph.D. – Duration (12 – 36) by specialty and degree

Funding:
• The scholarship is fully funded depending on academic level, monthly payments of € 850 for graduates or € 1200 for doctoral candidates
• Health insurance and personal accident insurance payments
• Travel allowance, unless these expenses are covered by the home country or other source of funding

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree degree experience of not less than two years
• Proficiency in English language with proof of IELTS or TOEFL academic certificate

• hand-signed letter of motivation (with reference to current occupation) maximum 2 pages
• academic letter/s of recommendation (the letters must have a letterhead, a signature and office stamp and must be of recent date
• professional letter/s of recommendation from your employer (the letters must have a letterhead, a signature and office stamp and must be of recent date)
• confirmation of employment from the employer in your home country and -if possible- a guarantee of reemployment upon your return home
• English – TOEFL or IELTS (Note: We only accept an academic TOEFL)
• German – necessary for the courses taught in German; for the courses taught in English, if available
• (certified) copies of awarded academic degrees (certified translation if necessary) • (certified) copies of academic transcripts (certified translation if necessary) Certified copy of academic certificate details (translated to the language required for the grant)

After the scholarship candidates arrive in Germany, they are subjected to an admission test

Consists of :
• First academic test (must score above average)
• High Performance Test (Level 3)
• Language Skills Test (Level 3)
